With so many event management companies saturating the market, how do clients know which companies to work with? It really comes down to whether or not event planners really have what it takes to make a client’s imagined event a reality, with precision, ease, and creativity.

And that is exactly what we do at Track Seven Events. The anatomy of our team consists of the traits that make us stellar event planners – and if an event management team doesn’t exhibit these traits, you shouldn’t trust them with your event. Here is a look at what makes us stand out in the event planning and design industry.

We know how to communicate with our clients

Communication is key, but it goes beyond just having superior communication skills. We’ve got the ability to communicate effectively in a number of ways – we’re able to discuss budgetary requirements with our corporate clients, we can ease into conversations with our creative artists who build props and design themes, and we know how to make guests feel at ease during the event. We seamlessly connect with laborers, vendors, logistic coordinators, creative, and clients.

We understand technology

Event planners need to have expertise in Excel or a similar database program because event planning requires a lot of organization and list making. However, this isn’t the only technology event management teams need to know. A big part of event planning today involves specialized lighting, customized props, and top-notch audio – and because we are a full-service event production company, we offer all of these services. In fact, other event planners often come to us for help with these things!

We think your experience matters

Event design is so much more than creating an event that is sure to mesmerize clients and guests – it is a service-based industry. That means we aim to make our clients happy, and we do that by running a tight ship. Yes, we like to have a lot of fun – and we do – but we also understand that you are spending a lot of money on your event, and we take that seriously. We want to make sure that your investment is a good experience and we’ll work with you closely every step of the way to ensure that happens.

Track Seven Events strives to create memorable, amazing events, ranging from weddings and bar or bat mitzvahs, corporate events and galas, concerts, and everything in between!

Tips for designing award shows and conferences

Every event management team knows that stage design really matters when it comes to conferences and award shows. The proper setup will give presenters the confidence to make it through the event, give the audience an excellent view, and give you the potential for repeat business.

So, how do you achieve ideal stage design for award shows and conferences? Here are a few tips for your next event:

  1. Less is more. When it comes to stage design, get rid of the clutter. Power cords, projection gear, and extra computers should be as invisible as possible. Clutter distracts the audience, and what’s more, it can present a safety hazard.

  2. The audience’s view. The entire audience should be able to see what’s going on. That means you’ve got to pay attention to where the speakers, screens, and props are all placed.

  3. Decor. Every stage needs to be decorated otherwise the whole event can be boring. You don’t want a stage that seems flat and cold. Use interesting props – build them specifically for the event if you have to – as well as technology, art, furniture, and other visual elements to create personality.

  4. Is the screen the right size? If you’ll be using a screen for any presentations, make sure that you choose one that is large enough for people in the back row to see it clearly. Additionally, make sure that the screen is high enough over the speakers’ heads when possible.

  5. Lighting. Of course there needs to be enough lighting for the presenters to move around safely, but don’t forget that lighting the screen correctly is important too. Stick to three-point lighting that is often used in video production, as it is often better than even lighting.

Keeping these suggestions in mind may make the difference between a phenomenal event and a disappointing failure.
