Week after week, year after year, we attempt to either change the way clients and guests view the events industry or modify it to fit their needs and expectations. New technology and creative concepts are what pave the way for this success. Many innovative ideas come first from the concert world and then get retooled for the private events industry. This happens once the cost is brought down and the idea is scaled back to work in ballrooms vs. a 20,000 person arena.
One of those newer concepts is the idea of a “Silent Disco”. This ingenious concept allows the audience to experience an extrasensory phenomenon through wireless headphones where the music is transmitted on two separate channels. The most important aspect of this technology is that the event is indeed, SILENT, providing valuable applications that allow the client to successfully navigate challenges. People on all levels benefit from this technology because it alleviates the politics created by noise restrictions. This concept is not only a WOW factor but has been a solution to many venues having to deal with noise issues. This technology also allows for multiple activities happening in the same room at the same time. Due to the variety of events Track 7 specifically creates, making this technology affordable and having the inventory is the biggest challenge. The other being client’s limited knowledge of the technology. Which makes it a difficult sell. I’m not saying it’s impossible, but maybe we can showcase it at our next trade show. Is that something that would interest you?
